Job Description
The Nursing Incharge will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, managing duty allocation, ensuring patient care quality, maintaining nursing documentation, and coordinating clinical workflows at Nahar Hospital, Jalore. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 5–8 years of experience in nursing supervision, staff coordination, and patient care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing activities in assigned ward, ICU, emergency, OT, or clinical area.
- Prepare duty rosters, allocate responsibilities, and monitor nursing staff performance.
- Ensure safe patient care, medication administration, bedside care, and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, supervisors, pharmacy, diagnostics, and support teams.
- Monitor patient vitals, nursing notes, handovers, medication charts, and care plans.
- Guide junior nurses in clinical procedures, patient care, infection control, and documentation.
- Handle patient concerns, nursing issues, and service escalations professionally.
- Ensure infection control, biomedical waste, PPE, and patient safety practices are followed.
- Maintain ward discipline, cleanliness, teamwork, and nursing service standards.
- Support admission, transfer, discharge, and emergency nursing coordination.
- Participate in training, audits, quality improvement, and patient safety activities.
- Deliver compassionate, organized, and high-quality nursing leadership.
