Resident Medical Officer RMO

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for providing clinical care, patient monitoring, emergency support, ward management, and doctor coordination at Nahar Hospital, Jalore. This requires MBBS, BHMS, or BAMS qualification with 1–3 years of experience in clinical care, patient care, and emergency care. The candidate should have strong medical judgement, disciplined documentation skills, and a patient-focused approach.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend OPD, IPD, emergency, and ward patients as assigned.
• Take patient history, perform clinical examination, and support diagnosis under senior guidance.
• Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, treatment response, and clinical progress.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide initial stabilization support.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, and billing teams.
• Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
• Review abnormal reports and escalate critical findings to senior doctors promptly.
• Support admission, referral, discharge, and patient transfer processes.
• Counsel patients and relatives under consultant guidance.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Maintain ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality.
