Senior Resident Plastic Surgery

The Senior Resident Plastic Surgery will support reconstructive, trauma, wound, burn, and cosmetic surgery services at Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida. This requires MBBS, MS General Surgery, MCh Plastic Surgery, or DNB equivalent qualification with 2–7 years of experience in plastic surgery and senior resident responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate plastic surgery patients in OPD, emergency, ward, and OT settings.
• Assist consultants in reconstructive, trauma, burn, wound, hand, and cosmetic surgery cases.
• Support pre-operative assessment, consent documentation, and surgical planning.
• Monitor post-operative patients for wound healing, flap/graft status, pain, and complications.
• Perform dressings, minor procedures, wound care, and bedside clinical support as assigned.
• Review investigations, imaging, and clinical progress with consultants.
• Coordinate with OT, anesthesia, ICU, orthopedics, general surgery, nursing, and rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain clinical notes, operative records, prescriptions, and discharge summaries.
• Respond to emergency plastic surgery and trauma-related calls.
• Counsel patients under consultant guidance regarding procedure, recovery, and follow-up.
• Follow surgical safety, infection control, and ethical clinical practices.
• Support academic rounds, case presentations, and departmental learning.
