The Nursing Educator will be responsible for nursing training, competency assessment, clinical education, induction programs, documentation, skill development, and nursing quality improvement at Gleneagles BGS Hospital, Bengaluru. This requires M.Sc Nursing qualification with 5–7 years of nursing education or clinical training experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct nursing induction, clinical training, and competency development programs.
- Train nurses on patient care standards, medication safety, infection control, documentation, and emergency protocols.
- Conduct skill assessments, bedside teaching, demonstrations, and refresher sessions.
- Prepare training calendars, attendance records, evaluation forms, and education reports.
- Coordinate with nursing administration, department incharges, infection control, and quality teams.
- Identify training needs and support staff development plans.
- Monitor nursing documentation, clinical practices, and compliance with SOPs.
- Support implementation of nursing protocols, patient safety goals, and quality indicators.
- Guide new nurses and junior staff for smooth transition into clinical areas.
- Participate in audits, clinical rounds, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain training files, competency records, and educational material.
- Improve nursing standards through continuous education and mentoring.
