Senior Staff Nurse - Nursing Services

The Resident - Dental Sciences will support dental consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, minor dental procedures, clinic management, patient counselling, and documentation at Aster DM Healthcare, Bengaluru. This requires BDS or MDS qualification with 1–4 years of experience in dentistry and dental clinical services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with dental pain, cavities, gum problems, oral infections, and routine dental concerns.
• Conduct oral examination and prepare diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Perform basic dental procedures as per qualification and hospital protocol.
• Assist senior dentists or consultants in dental procedures when required.
• Guide patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate dental case notes, prescriptions, and treatment records.
• Coordinate with dental assistant, front office, billing, and hospital staff.
• Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and dental instrument safety.
• Counsel patients regarding dental procedures, cost, risks, and follow-up visits.
• Manage emergency dental complaints and refer complex cases when required.
• Support dental OPD workflow and appointment management.
• Ensure ethical, safe, and patient-friendly dental care delivery.
