Junior Physiotherapist- Neuro MPT

The Junior Physiotherapist – Neuro MPT will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatments for patients with neurological disorders. This requires strong clinical knowledge in neuro-rehabilitation, hands-on therapy skills, and a patient-centered approach to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assess patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, and brain injuries.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, neuro-rehabilitation techniques, and mobility training programs.
• Assist patients in improving balance, coordination, strength, and functional independence.
• Use specialized neuro physiotherapy techniques such as PNF, Bobath concept, and motor relearning approaches.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Assist in early mobilization of post-operative and critically ill neurological patients.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals.
• Work closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and occupational therapists for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient assessment and treatment records.
• Support inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and tools.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Assist in pain management and functional recovery programs.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols during therapy sessions.
• Educate caregivers on patient handling and mobility assistance techniques.
• Participate in rehabilitation audits and quality improvement initiatives.
