Associate - Store and Purchase

The Associate - Store and Purchase will support hospital store operations, material receipt, stock tracking, purchase coordination, vendor follow-up, documentation, and department supply support at Medicover Hospitals, Whitefield, Bangalore. This requires Graduate, B.Com, or Diploma in Materials Management with 2–5 years of experience in store and purchase operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, issue, and tracking of hospital materials and consumables.
• Verify invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, quantity, batch details, and material condition.
• Maintain GRN records, issue slips, stock registers, inventory trackers, and purchase documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder requirements, expiry, shortages, damaged items, and non-moving stock.
• Coordinate with purchase, accounts, pharmacy, nursing, OT, ICU, housekeeping, and user departments.
• Follow up with vendors for quotations, pending supplies, replacements, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, segregation, and traceability of materials.
• Support physical stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare stock and purchase reports for seniors.
• Ensure smooth, accurate, and controlled store and purchase operations.
