Billing Associate

The Billing Associate will manage OPD/IPD billing, payment coordination, bill verification, patient billing query handling, discharge billing support, and billing documentation at Sahrudaya Health Care, Pune. This requires B.Com, M.Com, or any graduate qualification with minimum 1 year of billing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare OPD, IPD, emergency, procedure, pharmacy, and discharge bills accurately.
• Verify patient details, service charges, pharmacy entries, investigations, and package details.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, insurance, and accounts teams.
• Explain bill details, deposits, refunds, discounts, and pending dues to patients politely.
• Support discharge billing by tracking pending services, approvals, and final clearance.
• Maintain billing records, payment entries, daily reports, and patient billing files.
• Identify billing errors, missing charges, duplicate entries, or documentation gaps.
• Follow hospital tariff, package rules, approval workflow, and billing SOPs.
• Handle patient billing queries and escalate disputes to seniors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Prepare daily billing reports and collection updates.
• Ensure accurate, transparent, and timely hospital billing services.
