Dialysis Technician

The Dialysis Technician will support dialysis procedures, machine preparation, patient monitoring, dialysis documentation, infection control, and nephrology coordination at Medicover Hospitals, Whitefield, Bangalore. This requires Diploma or B.Sc in Dialysis Technology with 2–5 years of experience in dialysis unit operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machines, dialyzers, tubing, and consumables before treatment.
• Assist in patient connection, monitoring, and dialysis procedure support.
• Monitor vitals, machine parameters, alarms, and patient comfort during dialysis.
• Maintain dialysis records, machine logs, and treatment documentation.
• Follow infection control, PPE, dialysis safety, and biomedical waste standards.
• Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, biomedical, pharmacy, and ICU teams.
• Report machine issues, access problems, or patient complications promptly.
• Support cleaning, disinfection, and readiness of dialysis equipment.
• Assist in emergency dialysis support as per department requirement.
• Ensure safe, smooth, and patient-friendly dialysis services.
