Staff Nurse - Ward

The Ward Staff Nurse will support day-to-day ward patient care through monitoring, medication, documentation, and doctor assistance. The candidate should provide safe, ethical, and compassionate nursing services while coordinating with clinical and support teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to ward patients.
• Monitor vitals, pain, oxygen level, intake-output, and patient condition.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed nursing care.
• Assist doctors and senior nurses during rounds and procedures.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, and shifting.
• Report patient deterioration or abnormal vitals immediately.
• Deliver safe, respectful, and compassionate ward nursing care.
