OT-Nursing

The OT Nurse will work with surgeons, anaesthesia team, OT technicians, and CSSD to ensure safe and organized surgical workflow. The candidate should be skilled in sterile technique, instrument handling, patient safety, and OT coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operation theatre and sterile surgical materials.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthesia team during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field.
• Support patient positioning, draping, and shifting.
• Check instrument count and surgical checklist requirements.
• Coordinate with CSSD, pharmacy, biomedical, and nursing teams.
• Maintain OT records and procedure documentation.
• Follow infection control and OT safety standards.
• Report equipment or instrument issues promptly.
• Deliver safe and disciplined OT nursing support.
