Staff Nurse - Ward

The Ward Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing care to admitted patients. The candidate should be experienced in ward care, medication safety, documentation, patient communication, and interdepartmental coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide ward-based nursing care.
• Monitor vitals, pain, intake-output, and patient condition.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and oxygen safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, dressing, and procedures.
• Maintain nursing notes and medication charts.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, lab, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, and shifting.
• Report deterioration or abnormal vitals promptly.
• Maintain patient dignity and compassionate care.
