Staff Nurse - CICU

The CICU Staff Nurse will care for cardiac critical patients requiring continuous monitoring, medication safety, ECG observation, oxygen support, emergency readiness, and post-procedure care. The candidate should have cardiac ICU knowledge, critical care nursing skills, and strong patient safety discipline.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to cardiac ICU patients.
• Monitor ECG, vitals, oxygen saturation, pain, intake-output, and cardiac status.
• Administer cardiac medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed ICU care safely.
• Assist doctors during CICU rounds, procedures, emergencies, and resuscitation.
• Maintain CICU charts, medication records, nursing notes, and handover documentation.
• Report arrhythmia, chest pain, abnormal vitals, deterioration, or critical reports immediately.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, ICU, cath lab, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and billing teams.
• Follow infection control, PPE, medication safety, and critical care protocols.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, and patient shifting.
• Deliver safe, alert, and compassionate CICU nursing care.
