Lab Technician-Pathology

The Lab Technician will handle patient samples, support laboratory testing, maintain records, and follow biosafety standards. The candidate should be accurate, careful, and able to support timely pathology reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples.
• Support pathology testing and diagnostic workflow.
• Maintain sample records, test logs, and lab documentation.
• Follow quality control, calibration, and equipment cleaning practices.
• Report sample rejection, critical values, or testing issues promptly.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, phlebotomy, billing, and lab teams.
• Follow biosafety, PPE, infection control, and biomedical waste rules.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and discipline.
• Support audit readiness and documentation compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely laboratory support.
