Registrar - RMO - ICU - Emergency

The Registrar / RMO - ICU - Emergency will support ICU and emergency patient care, critical monitoring, consultant rounds, urgent stabilization, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination at KIMS Hospitals, Thane. This requires MBBS qualification, with MD / DNB Internal Medicine preferred, and ICU experience will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend ICU and emergency patients promptly during duty hours.
• Assist intensivists and consultants during ICU rounds, procedures, and treatment planning.
• Assess emergency patients and provide initial stabilization as per hospital protocol.
• Monitor vitals, ventilator parameters, ABG, lab reports, fluids, medications, and clinical progress.
• Respond to ICU emergencies, code blue calls, and emergency deterioration cases.
• Maintain ICU notes, emergency records, progress sheets, medication orders, and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, dialysis, blood bank, and specialty teams.
• Track pending investigations, reports, and consultant instructions.
• Support airway care, catheter care, central line care, and procedure assistance under guidance.
• Communicate patient updates to seniors and support family counselling under consultant guidance.
• Follow ICU, emergency, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Ensure safe, timely, and professional ICU and emergency clinical support.
