RMO - Ward

The RMO - Ward will be responsible for ward patient assessment, daily rounds, clinical monitoring, consultant coordination, emergency response, admission and discharge support, and medical documentation at KIMS Hospitals, Thane. This requires MBBS qualification with 0–2 years of hospital ward or clinical care experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend admitted patients in ward and assigned clinical areas during duty hours.
• Take patient history, assess clinical condition, and support treatment planning under consultant guidance.
• Assist consultants during rounds, admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Monitor vitals, investigation reports, treatment response, symptoms, and clinical progress.
• Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, handover records, and discharge documentation.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Respond to ward emergencies and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Track pending reports, procedures, consultant advice, and patient care requirements.
• Support patient admission, referral, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Deliver safe, timely, and professional ward medical support.
