Job Description
The Clinical Associate - Radiology will support diagnostic imaging reporting, radiology workflow, patient assessment, procedure coordination, documentation, and clinician communication at KIMS Hospitals, Thane. This requires MBBS with MD / DNB / DMRD qualification and 0–2 years of radiology or diagnostic imaging experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support reporting of X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other imaging investigations as per department requirement.
- Review patient history, clinical indication, and imaging findings before reporting support.
- Assist in imaging procedures, contrast studies, and emergency radiology workflow.
- Communicate urgent or critical findings to treating doctors promptly under senior guidance.
- Coordinate with radiologists, technicians, ICU, emergency, nursing, and clinical teams.
- Maintain radiology reports, patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety, contrast safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
- Support emergency imaging requests and timely report coordination.
- Guide technicians on image quality, positioning, and protocol compliance when required.
- Participate in case discussions, academic activities, and departmental audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and diagnostic information.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and ethical radiology support.
