Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing patients, planning rehabilitation programs, providing therapeutic exercises, and supporting recovery from injury, surgery, neurological, orthopedic, and medical conditions. This requires strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, patient evaluation, pain management, mobility training, and rehabilitation documentation. The candidate will work with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to improve patient mobility, strength, function, and quality of life.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients physical condition, mobility, pain level, muscle strength, and functional limitations.
• Plan and provide physiotherapy treatment based on patient diagnosis and recovery goals.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, balance training, and mobility sessions.
• Support post-operative rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and general surgery patients.
• Provide pain management therapy using approved physiotherapy techniques and equipment.
• Train patients in walking, posture correction, transfer techniques, and daily activity improvement.
• Educate patients and families about home exercises, precautions, and rehabilitation follow-up.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation teams for patient progress and care planning.
• Maintain accurate assessment notes, therapy records, progress reports, and discharge advice.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and modify treatment plans when required.
• Support ICU, ward, OPD, and rehabilitation unit physiotherapy services as assigned.
• Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and hospital care protocols.
• Motivate patients with empathy, patience, and professional communication.
• Help patients regain independence, confidence, mobility, and functional ability.
