Nephrologist Consultant

The Nephrologist Consultant will be responsible for managing kidney disease patients, dialysis care, renal emergencies, electrolyte disorders, CKD/AKI management, and nephrology consultation services at Kailash Hospital, Noida. This requires MBBS, MD Medicine, and DM Nephrology qualification with 5–10 years of experience as a senior nephrology consultant.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with kidney disease, AKI, CKD, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalance.
• Plan hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and renal replacement therapy as required.
• Review renal function tests, electrolytes, urine reports, imaging, biopsy reports, and dialysis records.
• Manage nephrology patients in OPD, IPD, ICU, dialysis unit, and emergency areas.
• Coordinate with dialysis technicians, ICU, urology, radiology, nursing, pharmacy, and laboratory teams.
• Manage dialysis complications, fluid overload, renal emergencies, and transplant-related care needs.
• Counsel patients regarding kidney disease, dialysis, diet, medicines, and long-term follow-up.
• Maintain nephrology notes, prescriptions, dialysis plans, and discharge summaries.
• Guide junior doctors and dialysis staff on nephrology protocols.
• Support quality and safety practices in dialysis and renal care services.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and ethical medical standards.
• Ensure high-standard nephrology consultation and patient outcomes.
