Gastroenterologist

The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating digestive, liver, pancreas, and intestinal disorders at Kailash Hospital, Noida. This requires MBBS, MD Medicine, and DM Gastroenterology qualification with 1–4 years of experience and availability on a weekly basis for gastroenterology care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with abdominal pain, acidity, GI bleeding, liver disease, pancreatitis, and bowel disorders.
• Conduct gastroenterology OPD consultations and plan investigations and treatment.
• Perform or assist in endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and GI procedures where applicable.
• Review liver function tests, imaging, endoscopy findings, pathology reports, and laboratory results.
• Manage GI emergencies such as bleeding, acute abdomen, pancreatitis, and liver failure.
• Coordinate with surgery, ICU, radiology, pathology, nursing, pharmacy, and endoscopy teams.
• Maintain clinical notes, prescriptions, procedure records, and discharge summaries.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, diet, medicines, procedure needs, and follow-up care.
• Support GI specialty clinics, health camps, and case discussions when required.
• Follow infection control, procedure safety, sedation safety, and ethical practice standards.
• Ensure timely diagnosis and patient-centered gastroenterology services.
• Support multidisciplinary management of complex digestive disorders.
