IP Manager

The IP Manager will be responsible for managing all inpatient-related activities including admissions, bed management, patient coordination, and discharge processes. This requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and the ability to handle patient concerns while ensuring operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end inpatient (IPD) operations including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Manage bed allocation and ensure optimal utilization of hospital capacity.
• Coordinate with nursing, doctors, housekeeping, and support services for smooth patient care.
• Monitor patient flow and ensure minimal delays in admission and discharge processes.
• Ensure high standards of patient care, comfort, and satisfaction during hospital stay.
• Handle patient and attendant queries, concerns, and escalations effectively.
• Coordinate with billing and insurance teams for discharge clearance and documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of inpatient records and processes.
• Monitor ward operations and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and service standards.
• Work closely with clinical teams to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Supervise IPD coordinators, front office, and ward support staff.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain regular communication with patients and families regarding care updates.
