Audit Executive

The Audit Executive will play a key in evaluating financial records, operational processes, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. This requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability toentify risks and recommend corrective actions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits of financial, billing, and operational processes across departments.
• Review financial records, transactions, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential risks in processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform audits of billing processes including OPD, IPD, insurance, and corporate accounts.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure ofentified issues.
• Coordinate with finance, billing, stores, and other departments for audit activities.
• Assist in external audits and regulatory inspections as required.
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, policies, and procedures across departments.
• Conduct surprise audits and stock verification to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Review vendor payments, procurement processes, and expense management.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit trails.
• Support fraud detection and prevention initiatives.
• Analyze financial and operational data toentify trends and inefficiencies.
• Assist in risk assessment and development of mitigation strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and operational information.
• Stay updated with audit standards, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
• Support implementation of audit tools and systems for process improvement.
• Participate in quality and compliance-related initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and cost control.
• Work closely with management to strengthen governance and accountability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and internal controls.
