Executive/ Sr. Executive

Biological E. Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Executive / Sr. Executive – QC Microbiology to perform microbiological testing and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards. The involves handling routine and advanced microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring, and supporting quality systems to maintain product safety and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and water samples.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
• Perform sterility testing, microbial limit testing, and endotoxin testing as per approved methods.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain culture media, reagents, and microbiological supplies.
• Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of microbiology lab instruments.
• Maintain aseptic conditions and follow laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
• Record, review, and maintain accurate test data and laboratory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines in all testing activities.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), and deviations in microbiological results.
• Support validation and qualification activities such as method validation and media fill studies.
• Monitor and trend microbiological data for continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate with QA, production, and other departments for timely sample analysis and reporting.
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous waste as per safety and environmental guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure availability of required consumables.
• Follow data integrity practices and ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Stay updated with current microbiological techniques, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
