Biotech Bioassay Executive

The Biotech Bioassay Executive will be responsible for supporting biotech and bioassay testing activities, sample analysis, method execution, documentation, laboratory equipment handling, and quality compliance. This requires B.Sc, M.Sc, or B-Tech Biotech qualification with 1–6 years of experience, knowledge of bioassay techniques, cell-based assays, microbiological or biochemical testing, GLP practices, and regulated laboratory documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform biotech and bioassay testing activities as per approved methods and SOPs.
• Support cell-based assays, potency assays, biochemical assays, or related biological testing as assigned.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, media, standards, controls, and test materials accurately.
• Handle biological samples, cultures, cell lines, and laboratory materials safely.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as incubators, biosafety cabinets, readers, centrifuges, and analytical instruments.
• Maintain test records, worksheets, logbooks, equipment usage records, and raw data documentation.
• Follow GLP, GMP, biosafety, aseptic practices, contamination control, and data integrity requirements.
• Report invalid assays, abnormal results, contamination, equipment issues, or deviations to seniors.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, production, R&D, and regulatory teams for testing and documentation needs.
• Support method qualification, validation, transfer, and routine testing activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and controlled conditions in biotech and bioassay laboratory areas.
• Track consumables, reagents, media, and sample storage requirements.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
• Follow proper waste disposal and biosafety requirements for biological materials.
• Ensure reliable, compliant, and timely biotech bioassay testing support.
