Quality Control Officer

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for performing analytical testing, sample analysis, instrument handling, documentation, and quality compliance in the Quality Control department. This requires B.Sc, M.Sc, or B.Pharm qualification with 0–10 years of experience, knowledge of laboratory testing, GLP, GMP, data integrity, analytical instruments, and pharmaceutical quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, stability samples, and validation samples.
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, dissolution, and other QC equipment as assigned.
• Prepare reagents, standards, solutions, mobile phases, and laboratory materials as per SOPs.
• Maintain analytical records, worksheets, logbooks, chromatograms, and test documentation accurately.
• Follow GLP, GMP, GDP, safety, and data integrity requirements during testing.
• Report OOS, OOT, deviations, instrument errors, or abnormal results to seniors promptly.
• Support calibration, maintenance, qualification, and troubleshooting of QC instruments.
• Verify sample details, test specifications, methods, and acceptance criteria before analysis.
• Coordinate with QA, production, warehouse, and regulatory teams for quality-related requirements.
• Support method validation, method transfer, stability testing, and audit readiness activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, chemical safety, and proper arrangement of QC laboratory areas.
• Ensure proper handling of reference standards, working standards, and chemicals.
• Participate in investigation, CAPA, and documentation review when required.
• Support timely release of samples without compromising quality standards.
• Ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant quality control testing.
