Officer/ Sr. Officer

Biological E. Limited is seeking a skilled and process-oriented Officer / Sr. Officer – Bulk Chemicals to manage and execute bulk chemical manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The involves handling production processes, monitoring equipment, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute bulk chemical manufacturing processes as per approved SOPs and batch instructions.
• Operate and monitor reactors, distillation units, storage tanks, and related equipment.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations in all operations.
• Monitor and control critical process parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Perform line clearance and ensure equipment readiness before batch initiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation including batch records, logbooks, and operational reports.
• Handle raw materials, intermediates, and finished products with proper storage and documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, and warehouse teams for smooth material flow and quality compliance.
• entify, report, and support investigation of deviations, incidents, and process abnormalities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
• Monitor utilities such as steam, cooling water, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards in the production area.
• Participate in equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown handling.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE at all times.
• Support audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation and compliance readiness.
• Contribute to process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Monitor environmental conditions and ensure adherence to pollution control norms.
• Participate in safety drills, training programs, and continuous improvement activities.
