The Attending Consultant Anaesthesiology will provide anaesthesia care, critical care support, intensive care assistance, emergency medicine support, perioperative monitoring, and pain management at Fortis, Gurugram. This requires MBBS with MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology with 3–8 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anaesthesia check-up and assess patient fitness for surgery or procedure.
- Plan and administer anaesthesia based on patient risk, surgical requirement, and clinical condition.
- Monitor airway, vitals, oxygenation, fluids, pain level, and recovery status during and after procedures.
- Provide critical care and intensive care support when required.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anaesthesia technicians, ICU, emergency, pharmacy, and nursing teams.
- Manage airway emergencies, resuscitation, pain relief, and post-operative recovery support.
- Maintain anaesthesia records, PAC notes, consent forms, medication details, and procedure documentation.
- Follow OT safety, infection control, patient safety, and anaesthesia protocols.
- Counsel patients regarding anaesthesia process, risk, and post-operative care when required.
- Deliver safe, ethical, and patient-centered anaesthesia services.
