Reception

We are looking for a professional and well-organized Receptionist to manage front desk operations at Usthi Hospital, IRC Village, Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in hospital reception, patient coordination, appointment handling, and basic administrative support. This requires excellent communication skills, a polite personality, and the ability to guide patients and visitors with care and efficiency.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients, visitors, attendants, and hospital guests in a polite and professional manner.
• Handle front desk operations including patient inquiries, registrations, and appointment coordination.
• Manage incoming phone calls, respond to queries, and transfer calls to the correct departments.
• Assist patients with information related to doctors, consultation timing, hospital services, and departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, appointment details, and visitor information as per hospital process.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing staff, and administration for smooth patient flow.
• Guide patients regarding OPD procedures, admission process, reports, billing counters, and waiting areas.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, welcoming, and patient-friendly.
• Handle basic administrative work such as document filing, data entry, and daily front office reporting.
• Support emergency and walk-in patient coordination by informing concerned departments quickly.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow hospital communication protocols.
• Assist in managing patient complaints or concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
• Coordinate with HR or admin teams when required for visitor management and internal communication.
• Ensure timely follow-up with patients for appointments, reports, or hospital-related instructions.
• Represent the hospital positively through courteous behavior, clear communication, and service-focused support.
