RMO in-charge

The RMO In-charge will supervise resident medical officer activities, patient care coordination, ward rounds, emergency response, clinical documentation, and interdepartmental communication at Horizon Prime Hospital, Thane. This requires MBBS qualification with 1–2 years of experience in RMO duties, patient care, and hospital clinical operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise RMO duties across wards, emergency, ICU, and assigned clinical areas.
• Attend patients and support diagnosis, treatment, and clinical monitoring.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, and discharge planning.
• Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, treatment response, and clinical progress.
• Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handovers.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, and billing teams.
• Respond to emergency calls and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Guide junior RMOs and ensure proper duty handover between shifts.
• Review pending clinical tasks and follow up with concerned departments.
• Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection control standards.
• Ensure smooth, timely, and ethical medical support.
