Lab Technician

We are hiring a Lab Technician to perform sample collection, diagnostic testing, laboratory processing, and patient support activities. The candidate should have DMLT or BMLT qualification, good knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, equipment handling, quality control, documentation, and infection control practices to ensure accurate and timely lab services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately.
• Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard protocols.
• Handle blood, urine, body fluid, and other diagnostic samples safely.
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain proper calibration records.
• Prepare samples for testing and reporting.
• Follow quality control procedures for accurate test results.
• Maintain laboratory registers, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, phlebotomy, and front office teams.
• Ensure timely sample processing and report dispatch support.
• Follow infection control and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the laboratory area.
• Report abnormal results or technical issues to seniors immediately.
• Manage lab consumables, reagents, and basic stock records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
