Job Description
Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The involves handling billing, invoices, payments, reconciliations, taxation support, and assisting in maintaining compliance with company financial policies and procedures. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting activities efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the organization.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and purchase entries.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain records of expenses, vendor payments, and client billing activities.
- Support GST, TDS, and other taxation-related documentation and filings.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external financial agencies when required.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for timely collections.
- Verify financial documents and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
- Maintain proper documentation of all accounting transactions and reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Process employee reimbursements, payroll support, and petty cash management.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial data to management as required.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Support internal audits and maintain financial confidentiality.
- Use accounting software and ERP systems for maintaining financial data.
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial documentation and approvals.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting operations.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all financial activities.
- Follow company policies, accounting standards, and financial procedures at all times.
