Job Description
The Production Staff will be responsible for supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing activities, batch processing, material handling, equipment operation, line clearance, documentation, and GMP compliance at Ciron Drugs, Mumbai. This requires B.Sc or B.Pharm qualification with 1–2 years of experience, knowledge of production workflow, shop-floor discipline, safety practices, and quality-focused manufacturing operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out production activities as per approved batch manufacturing records and SOPs.
- Support dispensing, mixing, granulation, compression, coating, filling, packing, or related production processes.
- Operate production equipment under supervision and as per defined operating procedures.
- Perform line clearance, area preparation, equipment cleaning, and product changeover activities.
- Verify material name, batch number, quantity, labels, and product details before use.
- Record process parameters, equipment usage, cleaning details, and batch documentation accurately.
- Follow GMP, GDP, safety, hygiene, and contamination control practices during production.
- Coordinate with production supervisors, QA, QC, stores, and engineering teams.
- Monitor in-process quality, machine performance, yield, rejection, and production output.
- Report deviations, equipment issues, material shortages, or abnormal observations promptly.
- Use PPE correctly and follow safe handling practices for materials and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper arrangement of production areas.
- Support timely completion of production plans while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in training related to SOPs, GMP, safety, and production processes.
- Ensure compliant, efficient, and quality-focused pharmaceutical manufacturing support.
