Executive - Microbiology

Detail-oriented Executive - Microbiology responsible for performing microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, microbial analysis, and quality compliance activities in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing environments. Skilled in microbiological techniques, laboratory operations, aseptic practices, and GMP compliance. Adept at ensuring product quality, maintaining laboratory standards, and supporting regulatory requirements through accurate microbiological testing and documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, water, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas, cleanrooms, and controlled environments.
• Perform microbial limit tests, sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and culture analysis as applicable.
• Prepare and maintain microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory solutions.
• Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Record, review, and maintain microbiological test results and laboratory documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, data integrity, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Support investigations related to OOS, OOT, contamination events, and microbiological deviations.
• Participate in method validation, method transfer, and qualification activities.
• Monitor environmental trends and prepare microbiological reports for review.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, production, and engineering teams on microbiology-related matters.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, aseptic conditions, and proper waste disposal practices.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Assist in calibration, maintenance, and qualification of microbiology laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance microbiological quality and laboratory efficiency.
