Pharmacist

Licensed Pharmacist responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, managing pharmacy inventory, and ensuring safe medication practices within hospital environments. Skilled in pharmaceutical care, inventory control, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and medication safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately.
• Review prescriptions for dosage and drug interactions.
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage and precautions.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock records.
• Monitor medicine expiry dates and stock rotation.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff.
• Maintain pharmacy documentation and records.
• Handle controlled medicines according to regulations.
• Conduct stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Support medication safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy areas.
• Assist in procurement and stock planning activities.
• Contribute to quality pharmaceutical care services.
