Job Description

Experienced Intensivist responsible for managing critically ill patients in intensive care units through advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and life-support management. Skilled in critical care medicine, emergency interventions, ventilator management, and multidisciplinary coordination. Adept at handling complex medical emergencies, monitoring unstable patients, and delivering evidence-based critical care while ensuring patient safety, clinical excellence, and improved outcomes in high-acuity healthcare settings.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
  • Provide advanced life support and emergency critical care interventions.
  • Monitor and stabilize patients with life-threatening medical conditions.
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and respiratory support systems.
  • Interpret laboratory reports, imaging, and critical care diagnostic findings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for ICU patients.
  • Perform invasive procedures such as central line insertion, intubation, and related interventions.
  • Manage sepsis, shock, trauma, organ failure, and complex critical conditions.
  • Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.
  • Ensure infection control, patient safety, and ICU protocol compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with patient families regarding prognosis and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ICU documentation.
  • Participate in emergency response, code blue, and critical case management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and evidence-based ICU practices.
