Manager - Process Engg.

The Manager – Process Engineering will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. The involves process validation, troubleshooting, equipment optimization, technology implementation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and compliant production operations. The candidate will play a key in driving process excellence, cost optimization, and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead process engineering activities to optimize manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes andentify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor critical process parameters and ensure process consistency and compliance.
• Coordinate with production, QA, QC, R&D, engineering, and maintenance teams for process-related activities.
• Support process validation, equipment qualification, and technology transfer projects.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, operational bottlenecks, and manufacturing challenges effectively.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective and preventive actions for process optimization.
• Support scale-up activities and introduction of new products into manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend process modifications or upgrades when required.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, utilities, and production resources.
• Coordinate with vendors and external agencies for process improvement projects and technical support.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
• Monitor process safety and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Prepare process engineering MIS reports, efficiency analysis, and operational performance summaries.
• Train and mentor production and engineering teams on process improvements and best practices.
• Stay updated with latest manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and pharmaceutical engineering trends.
