Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational activities, implementing business strategies, improving organizational performance, and ensuring operational efficiency across departments. - Establish operational KPIs and monitor departmental performance against business targets.
- Support business expansion, market growth, and strategic development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP standards, quality systems, and company policies.
- Oversee resource planning, operational budgeting, and infrastructure management activities.
- Lead risk management, business continuity, and operational governance initiatives.
- Support implementation of technology upgrades, automation, and operational transformation projects.
- Collaborate with senior leadership for strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
- Review operational reports, MIS data, and business performance metrics regularly.
- Ensure effective vendor, supply chain, and procurement management practices.
- Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Support employee development, leadership mentoring, and team performance enhancement.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance management activities.
- Ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and ethical business practices.
- Represent the organization in business meetings, strategic discussions, and stakeholder engagements when required.
- Identify new opportunities for business improvement, operational scalability, and profitability enhancement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and best practices in pharmaceutical operations and management.
