Job Description
The Sr. Officer – Production Injection will be responsible for supervising and executing injectable manufacturing activities including aseptic processing, filling, sterilization, and production documentation. The involves ensuring compliance with GMP, sterile manufacturing practices, SOPs, and regulatory requirements while achieving production targets and maintaining product quality. The candidate will work closely with QA, QC, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and compliant production operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute injectable production activities as per approved manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure compliance with sterile manufacturing practices, GMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor aseptic processing, filling, sterilization, and related injectable manufacturing operations.
- Ensure proper line clearance and readiness of sterile production areas before operations.
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure consistent product quality during manufacturing.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, warehouse, and engineering teams for smooth production operations.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of sterile manufacturing equipment and areas.
- Monitor environmental conditions and ensure compliance within sterile production areas.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
- Minimize downtime, process deviations, and material wastage through effective supervision.
- Support media fill validation, process validation, and equipment qualification activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, gowning, and contamination control procedures.
- Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Train and guide operators and junior staff on aseptic practices and SOP compliance.
- Prepare production reports, shift summaries, and MIS documentation for management review.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets without compromising quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for sterile manufacturing efficiency and compliance.
- Stay updated with injectable manufacturing technologies, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
