Technician - Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Technician - Engineering to support engineering maintenance activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The includes equipment maintenance, process maintenance, packing machine support, instrumentation checks, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and utility support. The candidate should have hands-on experience in pharma plant engineering operations and must ensure equipment availability, safety, compliance, and smooth production support.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance of process, packing, and utility equipment.
• Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation-related equipment issues.
• Assist in maintaining production equipment for smooth plant operations.
• Conduct equipment inspection, lubrication, calibration support, and basic repairs.
• Follow maintenance schedules as per engineering and production requirements.
• Maintain engineering logbooks, service records, and maintenance checklists.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment.
• Coordinate with production teams during equipment breakdowns and line issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and engineering SOPs.
• Assist in packing machine maintenance and process equipment upkeep.
• Monitor spare parts usage and report maintenance requirements.
• Support documentation for equipment history, breakdown analysis, and CAPA.
• Follow lockout-tagout and plant safety procedures during maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in engineering and equipment areas.
