Senior Executive - Engineering

We are hiring a Senior Executive - Engineering to lead equipment maintenance and engineering operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setup. The requires strong experience in process maintenance, packing maintenance, instrumentation, preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and GMP-compliant documentation. The candidate will coordinate with production and quality teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure safe plant operations.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for assigned equipment.
• Ensure smooth functioning of process, packing, and engineering systems.
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Supervise engineering technicians and maintenance support teams.
• Review maintenance records, logbooks, equipment history, and service reports.
• Coordinate equipment qualification, installation, commissioning, and modification tasks.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory expectations.
• Support instrumentation, automation, and utility-related maintenance activities.
• Plan spare parts requirements and coordinate with purchase/store teams.
• Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Participate in root cause analysis for repeated equipment failures.
• Maintain audit-ready engineering documentation and maintenance records.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Train team members on equipment handling, safety, and maintenance practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in machine reliability and engineering efficiency.
