We are looking for a Psychological Counsellor to provide patient counselling, emotional support, and psychology-based care services. The requires strong counselling knowledge, listening skills, empathy, and the ability to support patients through stressful medical treatment journeys.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide structured counselling support to patients and families.
- Understand patient emotional concerns and create supportive counselling plans.
- Conduct individual and couple counselling sessions as needed.
- Help patients manage stress, anxiety, confusion, and treatment-related pressure.
- Support patients during fertility, medical, or clinical care decision-making.
- Work closely with doctors and patient care teams for coordinated support.
- Maintain counselling records, patient notes, and follow-up schedules.
- Educate patients on emotional preparedness and mental wellness.
- Apply clinical psychology and counselling techniques professionally.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical counselling standards.
- Identify emotional distress signs and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Support patient engagement and treatment adherence through counselling.
- Participate in awareness, education, and patient support initiatives.
- Ensure compassionate communication in every patient interaction.
