Operation Theatre Technician

We are hiring an Operation Theatre Technician to assist in surgical and clinical procedures by preparing the OT, maintaining instruments, supporting anesthesia and patient monitoring, and ensuring infection control. The candidate should have practical OT knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support doctors and nurses during procedures.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare operation theatre before surgical and clinical procedures.
• Arrange OT instruments, equipment, consumables, and surgical materials.
• Assist doctors, anesthetists, and nursing teams during procedures.
• Support patient positioning, shifting, and pre-operative preparation.
• Monitor OT cleanliness, sterilization, and infection control practices.
• Ensure proper functioning of OT lights, monitors, suction, and equipment.
• Assist in anesthesia preparation and patient monitoring support.
• Maintain records of OT procedures, equipment usage, and consumables.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments as per protocol.
• Manage biomedical waste disposal according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain emergency readiness and support during critical situations.
• Coordinate with CSSD, nursing, and clinical teams for OT requirements.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort during OT procedures.
• Follow all hospital OT protocols and quality standards.
