Cardiac Technician

The Cardiac Technician assists in performing diagnostic cardiac tests such as ECG, TMT, and Holter monitoring. The requires technical knowledge of cardiac diagnostic equipment, patient handling skills, and the ability to work closely with cardiologists. The candidate ensures accurate test performance, patient comfort, and proper recording of cardiac data, contributing to effective diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform ECG, TMT, and Holter monitoring tests
• Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment
• Ensure correct electrode placement and readings
• Monitor patient condition during tests
• Record and document test results accurately
• Assist cardiologist during procedures
• Maintain equipment calibration and hygiene
• Explain procedures to patients clearly
• Handle emergency cardiac situations if needed
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain daily test logs and reports
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Coordinate with OPD and cardiology department
