The Attending Consultant Emergency will manage emergency medicine services, trauma care, critical patient stabilization, emergency department workflow, patient management, and clinical coordination at Fortis, Hyderabad. This requires MBBS with MD, DNB, Diploma in Emergency Medicine, or relevant specialty with 3–8 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage emergency, trauma, acute medical, surgical, and critical cases.
- Supervise triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and urgent treatment planning.
- Lead or assist in CPR, resuscitation, airway support, emergency procedures, and acute care interventions.
- Monitor vitals, ECG, oxygenation, lab reports, imaging findings, and patient response to treatment.
- Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, ambulance, nursing, and billing teams.
- Maintain emergency notes, prescriptions, treatment records, consent forms, and handover documentation.
- Guide emergency staff on emergency protocols, patient safety, infection control, and documentation.
- Communicate clearly with patients and attendants during emergency situations.
- Escalate complex cases to appropriate specialists when required.
- Ensure fast, safe, ethical, and patient-centered emergency care delivery.
