The Attending Consultant Anaesthesiology will provide anaesthesia services, intensive care support, emergency care assistance, perioperative monitoring, and safe pain management at Fortis, Hyderabad. This requires MBBS with MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology with 3–8 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anaesthesia assessment and evaluate patient risk factors before surgery.
- Plan anaesthesia technique and administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, or local anaesthesia as needed.
- Monitor patient airway, vitals, oxygenation, medication response, fluids, and recovery status.
- Support ICU, critical care, and emergency medicine cases when required.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anaesthesia technicians, ICU, emergency, pharmacy, and nursing teams.
- Manage airway emergencies, resuscitation, pain control, and post-operative recovery care.
- Maintain anaesthesia records, PAC notes, consent forms, and clinical documentation accurately.
- Follow infection control, OT safety, patient safety, and anaesthesia department protocols.
- Report complications, adverse reactions, or critical patient changes promptly.
- Deliver safe, reliable, and patient-focused anaesthesia care.
