Patient Care Coordinator

The Patient Care Coordinator will support patient guidance, care coordination, appointment follow-up, service communication, patient assistance, and healthcare workflow support at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Chennai. This is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience and knowledge of patient care, MS Office, office tools, coordination, and basic communication.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Guide patients through registration, consultation, optometry, diagnostics, billing, counselling, and pharmacy workflow.
• Support patient movement and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
• Handle patient queries politely and provide service-related information.
• Coordinate with doctors, front office, optometry, billing, pharmacy, counselling, and patient care teams.
• Follow up with patients for appointments, reports, procedures, and feedback.
• Maintain patient care records, follow-up trackers, coordination notes, and service updates.
• Use MS Office, office tools, and hospital systems for basic documentation and reporting.
• Support patient communication through calls, messages, and service follow-up.
• Escalate service delays, complaints, or patient concerns to seniors promptly.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Support patient education and basic service guidance under supervision.
• Ensure smooth, respectful, and patient-friendly care coordination.
