Deputy Manager - Payroll

The Deputy Manager - Payroll will manage payroll processing, salary data verification, MIS reporting, Excel-based payroll analysis, statutory coordination, and payroll documentation at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Chennai. This requires strong payroll knowledge, advanced Excel, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and MIS skills with 5–10 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing and salary data verification.
• Review attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, reimbursements, and payroll inputs.
• Prepare payroll MIS, salary reports, variance reports, and employee cost summaries.
• Use Advanced Excel, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis for payroll reporting.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, accounts, statutory consultants, and department teams.
• Ensure accurate employee master data, salary structure, bank details, and payroll records.
• Support statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and payroll documentation.
• Resolve employee payroll queries, salary differences, and payroll-related concerns.
• Maintain payroll files, approval records, monthly reports, and audit documents.
• Support full and final settlement, arrears, increments, and salary revision processing.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.
• Ensure timely, accurate, compliant, and confidential payroll operations.
