Job Description
The Executive - Quality Assurance will be responsible for IPQA activities, shop-floor quality monitoring, line clearance, in-process checks, batch record review, and GMP compliance in the formulation manufacturing environment at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad. This requires B.Pharm / M.Pharm qualification with 3–5 years of experience in IPQA, formulation production, quality assurance documentation, and manufacturing compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform IPQA checks during formulation manufacturing and packing operations.
- Conduct line clearance, area clearance, equipment checks, and batch start-up verification.
- Monitor in-process parameters, process controls, product quality, and documentation compliance.
- Review batch manufacturing records, batch packing records, logbooks, and shop-floor documents.
- Ensure manufacturing activities follow approved SOPs, BMR/BPR, GMP, and hygiene requirements.
- Coordinate with production, packing, QC, warehouse, engineering, and QA teams.
- Report deviations, incidents, non-compliances, and quality observations to seniors promptly.
- Support sampling, reconciliation, yield verification, label control, and material status checks.
- Verify cleaning status, equipment status labels, environmental conditions, and area readiness.
- Support investigation, CAPA, change control, and quality event documentation when required.
- Ensure data integrity and real-time documentation practices on the shop floor.
- Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspection readiness, and compliance rounds.
- Train shop-floor personnel on GMP, GDP, hygiene, and quality expectations.
- Maintain IPQA checklists, inspection records, trackers, and quality reports.
- Ensure consistent product quality and compliance during manufacturing operations.
