Executive - General Stores is responsible for managing general store operations, inventory control, stock documentation, issue and receipt management, and supply chain coordination. The requires any graduate qualification, with supply chain qualification preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of general stores, SCM, inventory management, store operations, stock control, documentation, and coordination with hospital departments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day general store operations and stock movement.
- Receive, verify, and record incoming materials as per purchase documents.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, inventory records, and store documentation.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and report reorder requirements.
- Arrange store items systematically for easy identification and access.
- Coordinate with purchase, finance, vendors, and user departments.
- Verify quantity, quality, and basic condition of received materials.
- Support stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation activities.
- Track expired, damaged, slow-moving, or non-moving items when applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline inside the store area.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports as required.
- Follow hospital supply chain policies and approval processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of vendor, stock, and purchase-related information.
- Ensure timely availability of general materials for smooth hospital operations.
