Executive - MRD

Executive - MRD is responsible for managing hospital medical records, patient files, documentation, data management, indexing, retrieval, and record confidentiality. The requires any graduate qualification, with MRD qualification preferred, and 2 to 4 years of experience in medical records, hospital documentation, patient record management, data handling, and healthcare administration.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records in a systematic and secure manner.
• Collect, verify, arrange, and file OPD and IPD patient documents.
• Ensure proper documentation of discharge summaries, consent forms, and clinical records.
• Manage record indexing, numbering, storage, tracking, and retrieval.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical information.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, admission, and administration teams for records.
• Track incomplete files and follow up for missing documents.
• Support audit, insurance, legal, and administrative documentation requirements.
• Maintain MRD registers, record movement logs, and daily reports.
• Scan, upload, digitize, or archive records as per hospital policy.
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper file classification.
• Handle authorized medical record requests from internal departments.
• Follow hospital documentation, retention, and confidentiality guidelines.
• Support quality, compliance, and NABH-related documentation when required.
• Maintain disciplined, accurate, and compliant medical record operations.
